Comedian Bharti Singh recently hosted a star-studded underwater-themed birthday party for her son Laksh, affectionately known as Gola, who turned three in style. Among the many celebrity guests was actress Dipika Kakar, marking a special reunion for the two friends who shared the stage years ago on the celebrity dance show Nach Baliye. The get-together, filled with laughter, nostalgia, and touching moments, was documented by both Bharti and Dipika in their personal vlogs.
Bharti, in her vlog, shared a heartfelt moment as she recalled their journey and reunion after several years. She said, “Nach Baliye ke baad humlog ab mile hai” (We have met now after Nach Baliye). She added, “We had come to your place also, I didn't think you would have come but thank you soo much for coming.” The warmth in her words reflected the deep bond the two continue to share.
Dipika, who arrived with her son Ruhaan, also posted a separate vlog where she took fans along as she went shopping for gifts for Gola. The video featured fun snippets of her quality time with Ruhaan at the party, showing the adorable toddler also enjoying the vibrant underwater-themed bash.
Bharti also spoke candidly about Dipika’s recent exit from Celebrity MasterChef, revealing that Dipika had to step away from the competition due to a hand injury. “Dipika is always so busy that she had to even quit MasterChef midway due to her hand. Mujhe itna bura laga, I know how much she loves cooking. Koi jab chhodta hai na apne favourite cheez toh bohot zyada majburi hoti hai. Bohot log samajhte hai, kuch log nahi samajhte, woh bhi ek din samajh jayenge,” she said. (“I felt really bad, I know how much she loves cooking. When someone quits their favourite thing, it means they were forced to. Many people understand, some do not — but even they will understand one day.”)
The reunion between Bharti and Dipika not only delighted fans of the duo but also served as a reminder of the genuine friendships formed off-screen in the world of showbiz.
