Arjun Kapoor believes the notion that he is the one looking after his sisters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, is inaccurate. In an interview with Galatta Media, he revealed that there were times when they supported him and helped him navigate through his vulnerable moments.
In the interview, Arjun Kapoor spoke about his bond with his sisters. He said, “They both have been really solid behind me, and I know it sounds like I am the brother who is taking care of them and all that. It’s not always like that. There are moments where you are also vulnerable. Janhvi has seen that vulnerable side of me. You question life, you question choices, you question is it all worth it, you question what will happen because you have to realise that negativity is a constant in our profession. It’s just that the volume of it sometimes reaches a point where your head just wants to explode.”
Arjun Kapoor revealed that Janhvi has witnessed his vulnerable moments and supported him during challenging times. Janhvi and Khushi are his step-sisters from Boney Kapoor's marriage to Sridevi.
Discussing his relationship with Janhvi and Khushi, Arjun Kapoor said, “I am better off for having Janhvi and Khushi in my life. I love them a lot. I care for them a lot and I am so glad that they are doing well and I am happy to say that they are very well brought up kids.”
During the interview, Janhvi joined the conversation via call and spoke about Arjun. She mentioned witnessing him “waiting in the wings these past two years” and acknowledged that his journey hasn’t been easy. Janhvi praised Arjun for maintaining a brave front and expressed her pride in him and his journey.
Arjun Kapoor is currently receiving praise for his role as the antagonist in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again. The multi-starrer, which released on Diwali, has performed well at the box office.
Arjun Kapoor delved into a darker realm with his portrayal of Danger Lanka, the chief antagonist in Singham Again. His character was described as a modern-day Ravana from the Ramayana, pitted against Ajay Devgn’s Lord Rama-inspired portrayal.
The film also features Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh reprising their roles as Veer Sooryavanshi and Simmba, respectively, along with Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff in pivotal roles.
