From them is the latest ‘genius of the year’ moment of Alia where she describes host Karan's marriage during a game session that left Karan Johar himself as well as Ranveer Singh in splits. A mimicry artist, who goes by the name of Chandni, decided to feature Alia’s epic dialogue from the show and needless to say, fans are going gaga over it.
Chandni took to Instagram to share a video of her mimicking Alia Bhatt from a certain segment from the Koffee With Karan 7 episode. Viewers would be aware that when Alia Bhatt was asked to describe her marriage in the final game segment of the show, she misunderstands it to be Karan Johar’s marriage and kicks off her speech. Needless to say, misinterpretation left everyone in splits with Ranveer Singh referring to her as ‘genius of the year’. Here, have a look at the mimic artist performing the scene from the episode.
With fans dropping ‘perfect’ and ‘nailed it’ comments on the video, it has gone to receive over 9000 likes.
On the other hand, the statement ‘genius of the year’ in itself is a reference made to the title of a video that created by AIB featuring Alia Bhatt. It was created as a response to the several trolls that targeted the then debutante after yet another foot-in-the-mouth situation on Koffee With Karan.
Speaking of professional commitments, Alia Bhatt, who recently completed the shoot schedule of her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone, has returned to Mumbai as she reunited with hubby Ranbir Kapoor. The actress also announced her pregnancy recently with her Brahmastra co-star as the couple is gearing up to welcome their first child.
