John Abraham's latest release Attack- Part 1 was an experimental film and the actor/producer turned writer with the film. Directed by Lakshya Raj Anand, the film introduced the first-ever super-soldier of the nation. John was seen in an out and out action avatar with a bit of his goofy side in the film. However, the box office performance of the film did not live up to the expectations. But, John has still thanked the audience for accepting the film.

In the film, John essays the role of an earthbound super-soldier with ordinary human abilities who becomes a super soldier who can operate beyond normal human limits. Earlier at the trailer launch of the film, John Abraham called Attack a “different” film and shared the thought behind the film. “We wanted to make a film for today's generation. Youngsters these days play games like PUBG, and Mortal Kombat. I thought it was important to make a film like this because of its relatability. Like Eera (an intelligent robot assistant in the film), at home we have devices like Siri, Google, and Alexa. We relate with them. So Eera is not an alien concept. It is existing today. By 2023, Elon Musk, owner of Tesla, is getting something called as a neurolink, a small chip that can be implanted in humans. So our film is a forward film, a cinema for new India. It was essential to make this film, as it is a game-changer," he had said.
