Sajid-Wajid, the mystic duo of the Indian music industry, has produced some greatest and super hit melodies. Almost a year ago, Wajid Khan, the younger of the two brothers, died on June 1, 2020 after COVID-19 and due to pr-existing kidney ailment. Since then, Sajid Khan has continued as a solo music director. Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai starring Salman Khan in the lead is the last project Wajid Khan worked on.
Now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Sajid Khan talked about his foot-tapping song ‘Radhe’ from the film. When asked how Salman Khan reacted to the final mix of the track, he said, "Actually, Bhai [Salman Khan] loved it. He liked it very much. While I was talking to him, he said that he knew that the song is going to be a super hit. But no one knew that the song will get such a great response. Even we never knew or even imagined that. It happened many times that we did work on a project and knew that the audience will love it. But, you never know things go so viral and become such a superhit. We never predicted that. It's by god's grace, that the hard work we did with all our honesty and dedication has resulted in such glory.”
Later in the interview, he also talked about how it has been working without his better half and brother Wajid Kham. Sajid said, "The third brother between me and Sajid was music".
Alongside Salman Khan, Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai also stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. The movie is presented by Salman Khan films in association with ZEE Studios, produced By Salma Khan, Sohail Khan and Reel Life Production Pvt. limited. The movie will release in over 40 countries, including a theatrical release in major overseas markets on May 13, 2021, on the occasion of Eid. The film will be available on ZEE5 with ZEE's pay per view service ZEEPlex on the Zee5 OTT platform and all leading DTH operators.
